This men's hiking boot is ready for the unplanned: an impromptu day hike, an unexpected shower, or a spontaneous camping weekend. With waterproof leather and breathable performance mesh, it's a go-to from spring through fall. Featuring a quick-dry lining, the Koven Mid Height Hiking Boots for men are built off KEEN’s traditional wider footwear form. KEEN is a values-led, family-owned maker of original hybrid footwear for working and playing outside. Since 2003, KEEN has been consciously creating sandals, boots, shoes, and sneakers on its mission to make the outdoors more accessible for everyone. Every KEEN product is Consciously Created to help leave the planet better than we found it.
WATERPROOF: KEEN.DRY waterproof breathable membrane keeps your feet dry and comfortable all day long by allowing vapor out without letting water in
DESIGN: Durable and made with trails in mind
TRACTION: KEEN.ALL-TERRAIN rubber outsole for higher traction grip; 4mm multi directional lugs grips various terrain for traction; Non marking rubber outsoles leave no trace or imprints while in indoors
FIT & CUSHION: Stay agile with the lightweight waterproof leather and mesh upper; Heel capture system gives added stability for everyday hiking
CARE TIPS: Gently brush the shoe with a soft bristle brush or hand towel to remove loose dirt and debris
After consideration, I chose this boot over some other options, and have no regrets. The price point is very reflective of the boot: good quality and build- a great shoe- but not the same as a $200+ priced boot. The support is great for most foot types, cushion is soft but firm enough for more rugged hiking. The materials have good quality to hold up against most anything, and is a boot to do anything in: a walk in the park to hiking the Rocky Mountains.Pros: -Good packaging -Great materials -Stylish look -Good comfort and support for most foot typesCons: -Could be lighter, but hiking boots aren't running shoes (trail shoes are a better option for lightness) -$140 isn't a small amount for shoes, not a low-budget option -Certain foot types may not pair well with the padding and support, but that all depends on your particular typeOverall, a great boot for a good price, one that you can wear with anything, anywhere.
