These boots are pretty much perfect for me. Super lightweight, and just the right amount of support in pretty much every spot. Waterproofing was superb as well, we went followed a river up for a while and my feet never got a drop of water on them. Definitely would buy again.The boots came as expected in a timely fashion. Great quality boots! Would definitely buy again.I normally wear sneakers and bought these yo traverse hiking trails and I like these very much. My heel loop got cut somehow after a hike but the rest of the shoe is fine so just be aware to not catch the loop on anything.I like narrow shoes, cause I have narrow feet. If you can’t see that from the pics, stop shopping online! If your Asian, it’s true to size. I think for any other race, you should buy 1 size larger… hiking boat?? Feels like tennis shoes.. very light and airflow, but I like them for casual wear. It is deceiving of seller to label hiking boats and water resistance (not water proof) big difference!! Don’t buy for hiking!!I feel like I'm wearing slippers in these things. They are super light weight. My feet feel lighter than not having shoes on. After not much wear they have a pretty funky smell. I'm embarrassed to wear them inside. Otherwise they'd get a 5 star for a light duty boot.This is my 2nd pair of these hikers so obviously love this style! The soft material on top is most comfortable on my foot with osteoarthritis; great ankle/arch support; really water resistant even after wading across streams & great tread/grip on all surfaces. Need I say more?I’ve worn Solomon boots for years and my old ones were size 12 but ran a little small. I bought these in size 12.5 and they are absolutely perfect! I have really flat feet and I’ve tried other brands that are unfortunately painful. My last pair lasted over 5 years. Solomon for the win.Best trail running/hike shoe I have ever used. I have a high arch and replaced with my own foot beds. After that they fit and feel perfect. The laces are old fashioned which allows you to dial in the best, most snug and comfortable fit. The quick lace design is not for me. In my opinion it ruins a perfectly good shoe making a huge compromise for convenience/laziness. The tread is excellent. Stiff enough for good support but sticky enough for loose to flat rock. The Mid design allows for excellent support to help avoid rolling your ankle. I loved them so much i got asecond pair before they reengineer for the worse. I wish i could have got a pair with the natural colored tread. They have that nice pop. These will not replace my leather welted boots for backpacking with weight.Comments relate to Size 11 (UK) or 46 (EU) extra-wide feet, one with a bunion. These are lightly-constructed midi-height boots that come just above the ankle. Compared to a heavily reinforced pair of Nubuck/fabric boots, they are far lighter so one imagines they would be unlikely to be as durable on stony ground or trails over long periods. The shoes have been comfortable from the outset. The sole is less rigid than heavier boots, but as mine are worn with Superfeet Blue inserts, one does not feel stones etc when walking on rough paths. The insoles supplied are insubstantial. Flat laces help to prevent loosening when walking. The cuff and tongue are well-padded. The lug pattern on the sole is more open than on other Salomon trail shoes I have used, but grips well in the wet and on muddy slopes. Too early to comment on durability but I am used to 2000-3000km life from Salomon soles in rural/upland use in western UK.Have only just got these, but seem like a very good lightweight walking boot.Like the design very much. One thing I noted was I wear a 7 1/2 size shoe sometimes an 8 depending. The 7 1/2 was way too small so ordered a 9 and they fit. You need to order at least one size bigger than you normally wear.Having had salomon boots before I was sure these would be quality, and they are. Very light, but with rigidity and support in all the right places. I buy a half size larger as they tend to be a tad smaller. First time on did a 7 mile walk, no rubbing, mega comfortable, coped with heavy rain too. There are plenty of boots, cheaper, but they offer the comfort and support of cardboard. Salomon all the way ??Sized up by half, right foot was too tight even in the size bigger, refunded, maybe a whole size bigger if you’re a wide fitting. Nice looking boots though pretty sure they had been tried already as some insert paper was missing.Disappointed. A nice design and light shoe (not for winter conditions), go at least one size up for decent fit. I've bought these beginning of March 2021 and from end of March they have leaked in pretty mild conditions (walking through ankle height wet grass).
