I've seen reviews saying you don't need to break these in but I didn't take any chances and before big trip I've started short walks and I'm glad I did. Just over a mile in my heels where bleeding and the shoe was cover in blood. Also I needed go up a half size. Other than needed a break in period sizing up I really like these and can't wait for our big trip!
