This is my 4th pair of Adidas trail runners, as I've been wearing them for years for urban hiking. I find them to be exceptionally comfortable and light, and they have very good traction.For hiking in the wilderness I would wear proper hiking boots, but on urban trails (like L.A.'s Runyon Canyon, Griffith Park, etc.) these are perfect. They look nice too. And I like that these have regular "old-fashioned" laces, rather than the weird and cumbersome lace-up system that many sneakers these days come with.They do fit true to size, but through trial and error I've learned that I prefer my hiking shoes half size larger than my normal size, to allow plenty of room for socks and to eliminate any chance for pinching or chaffing. I have never gotten a blister with these trail runners half size up.
