Generally, I've been trying to buy more Merrel shoes just because I think they make some of the best hiking and walking shoes around. I think while a bit too warm at times this shoes is quite comfortable, decent looking, and versatile in just walking around or actually going on hikes.All that being said, the title of the product says "Waterproof." Nothing about this shoe except the rubber bottom is waterproof. Further, I believe I've only had this shoe about a year and the rubber is fully peeling off the bottom in places on both shoes in several places.It's hard not to give it a solid rating cause I've really liked the shoe, but I'd rather pay more and have it last, and this shoe did not. Plus the false advertising of waterproof is disconcerting.
