I actually love everything about these boots except the fact that I've slipped and fallen a number of times. Once I thought I broke my pinky and once I thought I might have fractured a hip. It's ironic because these boots are exceptionally waterproof. I've walked through creeks where the water has come up past the soles, even covered the very top of the boot for a second and I've never had wet feet. But having dry feet isn't a really great tradeoff for breaking a hip. I ended up getting a pair of Asics trail runners that I'm wearing more now that are way more grippy, but not waterproof.
