I bought these shoes to wear in my chilly basement while I was working there, sometimes for many hours at a time. The floors are cold. These shoes have done what I hoped, which is to keep my feet warm and comfortable on the cold floors. They fit well, and from all appearances are well made. I expect them to last me many years for the way I'm using them. I'm sure if I were hiking around outdoors over all sorts of rough surfaces the soles wouldn't wouldn't last as long. But I'm not. So I'll never know how well they'd hold up under more extreme conditions. For my purposes, they're just fine.
