Shoes arrived in two days and color and style was as described by seller. They were new and packaged in an original Merrell shoebox with outer plastic wrap. The 7.5 size was a perfect fit for my 7.5 size feet. Shoes needed no break in period and were very comfortable on their first two hr hike. The shoes are lighter weight than my Merrell Moab 2 mids and being low cut, the ankle support is as expected. The shoes were a bit slippery on a few wet rocks but I suspect any shoe/boot may have. The shoes seemed to repel water appropriately and flex well when moving. I believe they will be a nice addition to travel and will pack well.
